soul cleansing journey - part 2

sebenarnya baru perasan yg ni saved as draft je. ingatkan dah published dua hari lepas hihi :

i miss this place. i really do :'( 

alright so after arriving at the hotel, we were asked to wait at the lobby for a while, and the staff started handing us our room cards and food for dinner. we then got to go up to our respective rooms and was told that we had to wait downstairs again in a hour, to go and perform our first umrah! bila sampai je dekat luar masjidil Haram, it was definitely crowded guys. and considering it was in the middle of the night... everyone was wide awake!! mashaAllah... Makkah never sleeps!

we performed our tawaf (seven rounds around kaabah, left shoulder facing the kaabah, with wudhu'), i couldn't stop staring at the kaabah cause it seemed so surreal. when i saw the green light for the first time, where we are supposed to wave to kaabah and say "bismillahiallahuakbar" (been reading this in the guidebook), i can't believe that i am actually doing it! my auntie was holding my arm during the tawaf. sepatutnya gerak dlm group, tapi last2 berpisah sbb orang ramaiiii sangat and masa tawaf tu tak boleh cari orang, niat mesti tawaf kerana Allah. kalau kita cari orang, kira niat dah lari. so bila dah habis 7rounds, me and my auntie tercari cari mana orang lain...and we couldnt find them

So kitorang pergi balik tempat berkumpul awal awal tadi and tunggu dalam 15 mins. but sorang pun ahli group kitorang takde. i waited for my sister, and tengok dekat rak kasut if her shoes ada lagi kat situ. so bila tengok ada lagi, maksudnya they're still there. but i dont know where. masa tu rasa nak menangis and takut tuhan je yang tahu.. bayangkan this is your first time. u know nothing about the place. so i decided to find them and asked my auntie to sit first since dia mcam tak larat. so lepas dalam setengah jam cari orang tak jumpa. kawasan dalam masjidil haram tu luas sangat2 mcam ioi mall andlagi banyak selok belok dengan orang yang sangat3 ramai. MashaAllah macam tak percaya aku boleh ingat jalan.. dekat sini, jalan dalam uniten pun kadanag2 silap lagi.

Masa tu i keep on praying... then lastly lepas tak jumpa jugak, aku pergi balik kat auntie aku. the main problem was, aku tak tahu tempat Saie kat mana. dalam tu ke? or kat tempat lain? so nak taknak kena tanya orang dekat sana. eventhough tak faham dia cakap apa.. but at least i knew that tempat Saie tu ada dalam tu. just kena pandai2 pergi cari. So jalan jalan jalan, ada signboard but in arabic +_+ tapi macam tulis Safa(im not sure sebenarnya maksud dia apa) tapi main jalan je ikut signboard tu. last last Alhamdulillah nampak orang ramai2 tengah Saie :') 

we walked over to the saie place, and started doing our saie, 7 times to and fro from safa and marwah. to say that by then i was tired, was an understatement. just imagine, all of us have been awake since 6am (malaysian time) on the 13th of february, and we were doing saie at 3am (makkah time) on the 14th of feb. malaysia is 5 hours ahead of makkah, so it was technically 8am in malaysia. more than 24 hours of no proper sleep. but again, if you are doing something good with pure intentions, Allah swt is going to lend you a hand and make it lighter for you. and alhamdulillah, it was finally the last stretch and i felt like running to the finishing line. haha and yet, i still couldnt see any of my group members.

So since we were already out of the state of ihram, aku cepat cepat ajak auntie aku balik hotel. tak berani dah nak pergi mana mana masa tu. oh btw jarak hotel dengan masjidil haram = 250m. so kena jalan sikit... and Ya Allah, once again macam tak percaya aku ingat jalan nak balik. huhu sampai je kat tingkat 9,rupanya my mom tunggu depan bilik and terus hug me since dia risau sangat3. orang lain semua dah balik. and since my mom tahu macam mana susahnya aku nak ingat jalan..so dia jadi lagi risau. my sister cakap, dia ada cakap kat mutawwif tu, ahli group tak cukup, and the mutawwif simply said "siapa suruh diorang tak ikut kita" i was like ; errrrrr...............................

( so yeah i would like to suggest, if u want to perform your umrah for the first time, please please survey and tanya orang yang dah pernah pergi dengan agency yang u pilih tu sesuai ke tak . rasanya agency yang bawak aku ni... memang tak sesuai untuk first timer huhuhu sebab since dekat airport jeddah sebenarnya kitorang dah lost, mutawwif tak briefing betul2 kena kumpul kat mana or apa semua. bukan nak burukkan, tapi pengajaran untuk kita semua okay)

and then... finally it was time for some sleep! fuh my first full day in makkah was a bit of a blur.
